This pair of Australian King Parrots have been visiting us for nine years. Sometimes, they bring their babies back to meet us which is always pretty cool. They tend to turn up for an extra snack to eat when times are tough, like the drought we are experiencing in Australia at the moment. We do spoil them a little by giving them a few peanuts or almonds. On this particular morning they brought some friends along and we had four pairs of adult King Parrots grazing on seed at the bird feeder. This was the largest number we have seen at one time. We think that the word is out that there is supplement food here at the moment! Check out our cute video at the end of this post of these beautiful characters!
