Unsure if this is a Weebill or a Thornbill? (Updated ID thanks to John: Yellow-Rumped Thornbill)

  1. Looks like a lot of action on your patch lately Judi! The last bird looks like a Yellow-rumped Thornbill with it's distinct crown (lacking in the Weebill)

    1. Hi John, yes it has been amazing all of the bird activity this spring considering it has been extremely dry! Thanks for the id on the bird - it's greatly appreciated I didn't want to label it incorrectly but like to know what they are! There is a really old small "dam" or pond as such on our property with nice trees around it and this is where I have been seeing most of the little birds! Will keep up with the photo taking and recording of sightings. Thanks again - Judi.
