Yes they are beautiful - these ones were from a small branch that had fallen from the tree, you are right, they do look even more appealing with their little "hats". I must keep a look-out for some like that. The majority of our gum trees have finished flowering so I will keep an eye on this particular tree. Thanks for your nice comments.
